25 Common Problems during Pregnancy and their Solutions

Carrying a baby for nine months is no easy task. In fact, it can be downright uncomfortable at times. Here are some of the most common problems women experience during pregnancy. Don’t worry though, with a little preparation and self-care, you’ll make it through just fine!

 

1. Feeling nauseous and vomiting

 

Many pregnant women experience nausea and vomiting, especially in the first trimester. Some simple solutions include eating small meals often, avoiding spicy or greasy foods, and getting plenty of rest. You can take pill for nausea prescribed by your doctor which arre safe in pregnancy.

 

2. Back pain

As your pregnancy progresses, your weight will increase and your center of gravity will shift, which can lead to back pain. To ease discomfort, try wearing supportive shoes, using a pregnancy pillow, practicing good posture and a good gentle massage can never go wrong.

 

3. Fatigue

Fatigue is common in pregnancy due to hormonal changes and an increase in blood volume. To combat fatigue, get plenty of rest and eat a healthy diet with plenty of iron-rich foods like green vegetables.

 

4. Headaches

Headaches are another common pregnancy symptom, caused by hormonal changes and increased blood volume. To relieve headaches, try drinking plenty of fluids, getting enough rest, and massaging your temples.

 

5. Heartburn

6. Constipation

9. Yeast infection

10. Stretch marks

11. Swelling

17. Preeclampsia

18. Gestational diabetes

24. Stretch marks
